Issue Description: OneDrive stops syncing and when users try to access the OneDrive app version, the above mentioned error message is displayed.
Troubleshooting: This issue could occur if the current user profile data is corrupt or if something is wrong with the connection between your user profile and the Microsoft account to which it is connected. Most of the users have confirmed that disconnecting their Microsoft account and connecting it back has resolved the issue. Users can try the following steps:
Windows 8.1
- Press Windows key + C, click on ‘Setting’ and then click on ‘Change PC settings’
- Click on ‘Accounts’ in the left pane and select your user account
- Now click on the ‘Disconnect’ option below your username.
If the issue still persist, it is possible that the user profile data is corrupt too. In this case, users can fix their issue by creating a new user account and migrating their data from the corrupt profile
