Issue Description: The OneDrive app on Mac crashes and displays the above mentioned error. Exiting the app and restarting it brings the same error message.
Troubleshooting: This issue could occur due to various reasons. Most of the users have reported that re-installing the OneDrive app has resolved the issue. Before uninstalling the OneDrive app, right click on the OneDrive icon on the top right and select ‘Preferences’. Click on “About’ and then click on ‘Unlink OneDrive’. This will make sure that no files are deleted or changed when you reinstall the app. To uninstall the OneDrive app, just drag and drop the OneDrive application to ‘Trash’. After uninstalling, make sure that you delete all files related to OneDrive installation as explained here:
a. Go to /Users/<name>/Library/Containers.
b. Find the 2 folders - com.microsoft.skydrive-mac and com.microsoft.SkyDriveLauncher.
c. Drag them to the trash.
d. Remove the locally stored OneDrive folder. Now install the OneDrive for Mac app again and check if the issue recurs.
